So it finally got here, a movie I’ve been waiting for a few years now, and it was well worth it. I was really wondering how they were going to find a challenge for these avengers, I mean, Iron Man, Thor, The Hulk and Captain America all seem impervious to any kind of pain, and still, they did.

Great film for action lovers and comic geeks like myself, it even had a great writer/director.

In this post apocalyptic setting North America has been divided into 12 districts and from each 2 tributes between ages 12-18 will be chosen to participate in the “hunger games”, which is an anual fight to the death.

The movie was well done with some very cool futuristic imagery and very likable characters that you will want to root for and relate to.

This is based from Suzanne Collins’ book of the same name, that became hugely popular in 2011. One notable difference I’ve heard is that the book focuses more on the main characters perspective and therefore is a lot more frightening and the audience can relate to her situation.

I say go watch it while its still in theaters!
